KNIHOU TO NEZAČALO

V roku 2010 Sheryl Sandberg, prevádzková riaditeľka firmy Facebook, predniesla TED Talk o prekážkach, ktoré ženy prekonávajú na ceste k vedúcim pozíciám. Reakcia diváčok z celého sveta, ktoré zdieľali svoje vlastné príbehy o kariérnych bojoch a úspechoch, inšpirovala Sheryl k napísaniu knihy Lean In.

 

Vyšla v roku 2013 a okrem osobných príbehov sa opiera o výskum objasňujúci rodové rozdiely. Kniha ponúka praktické rady na pomoc ženám pri dosahovaní svojich cieľov a vyzýva čitateľov k spoluvytváraniu sveta,

v ktorom majú všetci rovnaké príležitosti bez ohľadu na pohlavie. 

 

Doposiaľ sa z knihy predali vyše 4 milióny výtlačkov a bola preložená do 34 jazykov. Iniciovala vznik globálneho hnutia Lean In, vďaka ktorému sa viac než 2 milióny členiek circles v 183 krajinách sveta opiera do svojich cieľov spoločne.
